Ce groupe de 8 musiciens, formé par Johnny « Papa » Shango (compositeur, chanteur, guitariste et tromboniste) rend hommage à la culture funk des années 70 et 80, tant au niveau cinématographique que littéraire… Les références sont évidentes et sans prétention, le but principal étant simplement de propager le mouvement du « groove »… Mouvements de têtes et des hanches garantis !

This 8 piece band plays an energetic funk-rock music inspired by old and bad movies of the 70’s and 80’s era. Led by the charismatic Johnny Shango (composer, singer, guitarist and trombonist), this band makes you feel great for a long time after the show ! »
Formed in 2011 by Johnny 'Papa' Shango (Colectivo, Funkafones), the Voodoo Shango Experience's mission is to pay tribute to the old school « funk culture » and they will sure make you groove with their unique theatrical antics on stage !
